Greetings from the Contra Costa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., located in the Fabulous Farwest Region! Our membership is comprised of diverse and dynamic professionals who reflect the legacy of our Founders and who have dedicated themselves to a lifetime commitment in our illustrious sisterhood. We are honored and delighted to have you visit our official website, and encourage you to visit often to learn more about what Contra Costa Alumnae has to offer. We continually strive to create community service footprints throughout Contra Costa County. For 30 years, the Contra Costa Alumnae Chapter has been active in Contra Costa County, providing on-going programs that align with the five-point programmatic thrusts of the Sorority:
Economic Development – Providing support for the under-served
Educational Development – Promoting academic excellence and providing scholarships
International Awareness and Involvement – Encouraging participation in addressing issues that affect women and children around the world
Physical and Mental Health – Increasing knowledge of health issues and disease prevention
Political Awareness and Involvement – Educating and stimulating participation in establishing positive public policy
